Life & Things & Keka Case

I know I haven't updated in awhile, but it's certainly not because I haven't been making things. It's just that I've been making things that I can't show anyone yet! Living in a world of instant gratification and immediately sharing events as they happen, it has taken quite some patience for me to hold back on what I'm doing. Let's just say, things are pretty exciting right now.

One thing I CAN share is…keep your eyes on this page at Keka Case! They make beautiful iPhone, iPad, Galaxy, and Kindle cases, and I am happy to announce that I've partnered with them to release a 10-piece collection! The designs are in the mock-up stage right now, and I will post again when they are up & running.

Third, this past weekend I made a huge life change…I moved to Boston! It's something I've been wanting to do since graduation, and it finally all worked out. Now, if only I had Wi-Fi hooked up...

Out of the Shire @ Gallery Nucleus

SUPER STOKED TO ANNOUNCE that I will have two pieces in the upcoming Gallery Nucleus show "Out of the Shire" - a tribute to Tolkien! If you're in/near L.A., please go take pictures for me because I am sadly stuck in Connecticut.

"The Hobbit" extended edition DVD came out today...

My troll piece is featured in one of the behind-the-scenes documentaries called "The People's and Denizens of Middle-Earth", and I'm so excited to finally share this!

The Hobbit, and more specifically Tolkien, has been my biggest love since I was a kid, so this is truly an honor for me, even if my image is only on screen for less than 2 seconds. Life dreams, man!

I don't know why, but I've been doing watercolor painting for so long that I got a little scared of painting opaquely, to the point where I almost forgot what it felt like. And a few days ago, I had the sudden urge to ditch my watercolors! So here's an acrylic painting - yay or nay?!
